Stepping Out of My Fashion Comfort Zone

All I can say is thank God for Pinterest!

Pinterest’s fashion boards have been my stylist for over a year now. I’ve had some fashion fails, learned how to mix prints, dabbled in bold colors, and being brave enough to take fashion risks.

Today’s OOTD was Pinterest inspired. It wasn’t exactly a look that I found on the site, but a result of me pouring over fashion boards for hours and learning how to put pieces together.

I love this look because if you tried to get me to wear it a year ago I would’ve wrinkled up my nose! I’ve never been into fashion. Growing up I played sports and was a tomboy, so this is new territory for me.

Thankfully I haven’t had to add much to my closet. I’ve bought a few things like blazers, ripped jeans, tees, and skirts, but not much else. I’ve learned to work with what I already have and not overspend. I’m a bargain shopper, but I love quality items. It’s not uncommon for me to find a bargain at Nordstrom Rack and then rock something cute from Target.

So, cheers to Pinterest for becoming my personal stylist!
